CHELO, a B-BBEE level 1 organisation, is a registered NPO created in 2007
by a group of parents in partnership with Hout Bay International School (HBIS).
The partnership provides access to a world-class international education for children from previously disadvantaged communities of Hout Bay.

HBIS contributes school fees while CHELO funds all other direct (financial, social & educational) costs of our bursary children. These costs mount up and we cover those for all 13 students - 1 in each year group starting in PYP1 - primary years 1.
CHELO can only achieve this through continuous fundraising & the generous contributions of money, time & energy by supportive parents.
